Good fun at the motor cycle museum
« on: February 18, 2007, 20:35:46 »
The RAC sent me a job today renault megan bogged at the mcm junction 6 m42, turned up in my RAC transit, only to find 11 cars and 3 4x4s stuck on a flooded field, there was no way i was going to pull any of them out with my transit, so told the good people, will be back in 10 , fired home to pick up my disco, yes the same disco that spat a diff out the night before, so armed with 2 litres of diff oil i filled up the very pooley diff, got within 2 mile of junction 6 bang no drive, into diff lock were away again,
got back on scean to find even more cars stuck, pulled a few off with just rear axle working, then spent the next 2hours winching the rest of them off, can`t belive how many 4x4 owners have no idea how to use diff lock, anyway a few good tips in my pocket  and thats me done, had to put an RAC job in to get me home, all good in the end
