Try Dyneema yachting ropeoffcuts can be had cheap from shipping places or chandlers, and if you buy the right type, its damned high spec dyneema rope!also, if anyone has contacts(ive tried, but can only buy a massive drum) try amsteel rope. Its basically dyneema designed for the fishing industry, with an abrasion resistant coating. Again, damned high spec stuff.
