Sadly I've found that to be true of most of them... TOR is the exception these days.

Great article though Wayne.

All for £3000 can't be bad  :D

And yes can now see the mirror deflectors  :D

I always thought though that if a spare can be fitted to the bonnet it should be there, but then saying that you'd probably have trouble seeing over the top of your spare judging by the tyres you have on.

There's a section near to the rear of the mag 'readers Land Rovers and I keep meaning to send an article off, wonder how many Mud members we could get featured in the LR mags

I sent the letter off about two and a half months ago.  I thought that they thought it was rubbish and just binned it, when all of a sudden two months later i get an email saying,: :D    Thank you for sending us your contribution a couple of months or so ago. Okay, we have a deal: you send us a couple of pics of your Land Rover (high-resolution if digital) and we'll publish your letter. :D

Can't say fairer than that!

Seriously, I think the point you're making will strike a chord with a lot of other readers.

Thanks and best wishes,

Well, i nearly had a heart attack. It does make you feel good to be recognised. Then if that wasnt great enough i got another one this wednesday which said  : :D Hello Wayne

:P Congratulations! Your letter has been chosen a Star Letter for December 2004 issue. Your prize is a wheelcover of your choice from Cutlers Wheelcovers. :P

What a week.

So i suppose i will have to put the spare back on the bonnet, to put the free wheelcover on.
