im sure some body asked this but i got a mint 1993 v8i disco which im selling but if it dont go i was thinking of changeing the engine to a tdi but how much work involved and can it bee done .
ITS got to be cheaper than converting to lpg lol

No it hasn't.  Find a decent TDi engine for less than a grand, with a suitable gearbox.

Add in a pump tweak and intercooler for when you get sick of the lack of power, plus the extra insurance for a modified motor.

Or spend about a grand on a multipoint DIY lit and fit in in 2 weekends.
