Syrely that depends on how much you got with the engine.  If it's a "turn key" engine then probably not a lot.  Are the engine mounts the same?

Don't know.
I've just bought a Disco with a iffy motor (no water/poss no compression) and wondered what sort of job it would be.
I think rad/intercooler/coolant pipework are different

Rad/intercooler assy is different on them, but generally you should be ok if you have the whole vehicle to cannibilise for the necessary parts, the only thing is as far of what little knowledge of the 300I have, is the sensors round the engine

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

engine mounts are different, so you would need to chop some engine mounts off a disco 200 chassis and aquire the 200tdi disco engine mounts if you aint got um, ( ive got them if your stuck )

gearbox crossmember is different afink...but am not quite sure, aint been under a 200 disco for a while  :P

loom wise, the 300 tdi ones will plug into the 200 stuff, only 7 wires

box, would be better to use the lt77, not sure about props

so is it the 300tdi u got thats duff ?? what exactly wrong with it ? want sell the engine and box  :P

YES THE ENGINE MOUNTS ARE DIFFERENT, NO NEED TO CHANGE RAD OR INTERCOOLER, JUST USE 300 Tdi TURBO AND MANIFOLD. I BOLTED MY 200 Tdi to R380 GEARBOX.
