I've got conflicting info re the front pads (1992 200TDi) - one place says one option, one says there's a choice of 3.  Anyone know?

Probably the wear indicators.  On mine I've been sold them with one or two wear indicators (one each side in that case) and some had none fitted at all.

Solid disc
Vented disc ( mainly V8s )
With wear indicator I just cut them off.
I bought genuine Ferrodo and I cant believe how quick it stops.
Remember it will come in handy even if you never use it

Just changed the pads on my 200Tdi Disco - £20.96 from Halfords for set of 4 pads.

Don't worry about the wear indicator, mine has never been connected.

Ouch, Paddocks are £12/13 +vat

If your going to snip the wear indicator wire why pay more for it? I use earlier RR pads without the wire @ £7 + vat (lockheed)
