i did lots of welding on my series, but its not the kind of thing i took pictures of.
but i did do i cracking job of welding my rear cross member on, ill see if i can take a piccy of it.

I had a nice pipc of mu welding on the red RR.

Unfortunatly you could only see it because it was on it's roof :roll:

This is the sort of stuff I'm fabricating:

It's a PTO driven compressor unit that mounts to the front 3 point linkage of a tractor.

That's the Mk 2 version. The Mk 1 version was powered by the tractor hydraulic system, but it struggled to provide enough power, so the Mk 2 had to be PTO driven.
I'm sure we could produce something with a larger capacity, assuming we can get a large enough compressor unit (That's an Atlas Copco unit).
There's no reason why we couldn't build one that is electric powered.

It's called "Simba Orange".
I don't know where to get it though as we just had a tin of it lying around the workshop. :)

Nice. I kinda fancy a job like that!

Shouldnt the drive belt have a tensioner of some sort in it? would make it easier to change the belt and to tighten it as it ages..

I built a Cal look dub in 1991, it had a 1771 pro-series engine and flew like the wind... however my welding was not as good as that!

It does.

The sub-frame that the bottom pulley & drive shaft is mounted to pivots on bearings & is adjusted up & down by threaded adjusters on the opposite side. :)

Not really anything car related but this was my A2 level CDT project, its a shotgun safe that fits on top of the wheel arch in a T5 Transporter Van!
