If it's the QT type
They class the rock slider as the rear diff protection.
Simple to fit. protects the diff pan and the input area from the prop
UJ on disco 200/ rubber donought on disco 300.

They're fairly easy to fit to defenders...
First thing I fitted to mine, and it took about half an hour.
It's amazing just how scuffed it and the front one are after only a couiple of trips!
Cheers

Got QT front and rear diff guards on mine and like Ben has said first thing I got put on.
Went to Whitworth not long after and they did the trick
Best on the market in my opinion :D

I have a front diff guard - not QT - which clamps around the pan.

Tina did'nt mean to scare people off about Whitworth, just that there is a long and very rock climb which if your not carefull where you go you could catch your diff's.

So we finally got the QT Rockslider fitted to the car. I won't say it only took half an hour because I've spent more time underneath the disco today than I'd care to mention. Last time I follow the instructions so religiously :x . Had I done step 3 after about 5, 6 or 7 it would have been all over in an hour, but I didn't and it wasn't, but that may just be me :? .
Anyway it's on now, looks good and ready for Whitworth tomorrow :D .

Better pass a link to this topic to Dyf, those QT's work wonders, stop you hitting diff pans on huge rocks. - - -- - -- snigger hehehehe
Well i'm glad i got em front and back, just had the torch out for a look underneath, has to be said that i got my monies worth out of the diff guards and steering guard, lots of dings and scrapes.
