Has anyone replaced the static freelander mirrors with power fold ones ?
Mrs wizard is fed up with her static mirrors being bashed so i thought i would get some power folding ones and stick them on.
any tips gratefully received.

Fairly common mod in the Freelander Club, and not that diffcult to do. Think you have to file out one mounting hole and then it all bolts straight in.

Thanks for the responce, it does seem fairly straight forward.
Once the mirrors arrive i'll look into the electrical side of things.

Well, i have put on two folding mirrors, easy and straight forward.
Q how do i know if they are power fold and how do they
fold ??????????????

Hi mate
Im assuming you have got then to electrically adjust on the little joystick thingy. if so put the little stick in the centre neutral position pull it down then they retract do it again and they unfold. if one gets out of synch like some little git knocks one side out of line with the other just retract them and they reset. hope that helps.
