Not sure, it's the same chassis but the Disco tank is a little bit lower.
Here's a thought, look at some of the websites and see if it's the same part sold for Disco and RRC, particulary if you know who made the one you have. I know thwe Souothdown one is made for Disco and then fitted to RRC, because it sticks out too far

I can understand the need for a tank guard for rock crawling, but how about playing in the mud? My local garage is of the opinion that since the tank is plastic, it should rebound after flexing from "soft" impacts. Any thoughts?

Better safe than sorry, you never know whats under the mud, i've had a domestic central heating radiator wrapped up inside my rear wheel arch after some kind soul decided to dump it in a local lane.

sounds like a extreme way to be heating your cab although its probably more reliable than my heater matrix  true what you say though you never know what lies beneath

Normally get bits of old burnt out cars in the mud near us. One lane recently was being worked on by a mate sub contracting for the council. He was clearing out the cattle grids as they were full of mud, he found an old XR2 in one! Under the cattle grid!
