Some of you may have heard about my saga of trying to get the wheels i wanted for my truck, well, last week i gave up, and ordered a set of black modulars form a well known supplier, they were dispatched on wednesday, and i've ended up collecting them from the courier this evening, i paid 25 quid for 'next day!!'.......

So, gets home, unwraps em, only to find two wheels are not correct, yeh, they're the right wheel, but with paint missing, and one of them looks like the rim hasn't been properly welded...... not ammused.....

I've mailed them the pics, and i'm waiting for a reply tomorrow.....
gone from 200tdi.... to 300tdi... still with loads done to it, in fact, even more than the last truck...LOL!!!

Not had that sort of problem with the supplier, but the courier yes!

I won't use TNT as, no matter what you pay for, they send your package to their Perth depot and then it sits there until they have a lorry load to send further north before it moves again! So even if you pay for next day then it could take a week to arrive, but they don't tell you this!

Some places say they post to UK addresses and then inform us that UK addresses doesn't include our island. Even though we were part of the UK last time I checked.

One well known Land Rover spares company wanted to charge me £16 postage for £12 worth of items!   Because they had a contract with a courier company that prevented them sending anything by Royal Mail. So I don't use them any more.

No, I get brassed off continually too.

I stopped using Paddocks becasue they always put the YTS on the 'phone to me, so even when I've done half their job for them they manage to send the wrong stuff.

I miss working on old fords sometimes

Chuggaboom, 1995 Range Rover Classic
