I dont know about much ground clearance. My neighbour has one and he let me have a nosey round and a sit in....... had to shuffle cos it was higher off the ground than I expected. I really like them and am seriously considering getting one as a family vehicle

I see hundreds of the new freelanders every time I got to our Speke depot, round the corner from where they are built.
And they have a cute purpose built offroad course to

Had one for a few days when mine was at the dealers

Thought it was a great car, though a little pricey, now LR are producing commercial Disco3 would consider that next time around.

When I got mine back, it was like getting back into a tractor
Though I still love driving the old ' Hippo :D

Yes i read it, but as far as i am aware (and i could be wrong) but there is no V6 diesel (see my post) and there is unlikely to be an auto in this country this year......

Had the i6 HSE  auto out for the day whilst disco was in for service. Best described as fantastic but very heavy on fuel.

Have name down for test drive in diesel auto which should be in dealers by end of April, but it is the td4 engine not td6.
Discovery "landmark" - td5

Defender TD5 - now being modified -

Defender 90 with 300tdi
