Whoops!!!!
« on: March 25, 2007, 21:56:14 »
Had a bit of an incident with another vehicle today - slightly modified the rear end of Dumbo  #-o  #-o  #-o

I will not put any further details of the incident but if the person who's vehicle did it wants to add more I'll let him

Not too badly damaged just a slight dent in the rear door, a cracked bumper & a broken wheel cover -  but hey ho these things happen

Is there anyone on here in the Midlands area that could assess if the door dent could be pulled out??

Oh by the way a great day of laning. Thanks to all involved  :D  :D

take spare wheel off attach one end of tow strap to spare wheel carrier attach other end to immovable object (large tree etc) drive forwards very slowly and have some one watching the door it should pull the worse of it out.
Then panel beat it Might not be the best looking door but the wheel will hide most oF it.

I can get a door if need be. PM me or pop on irc and I can get a price for it. Will need to be sprayed but IIRC you know people that can do that. Tis fire engine red atm.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.
