rear diff

hope some one can help me. we broke some thing in the rear diff on sunday and today tried to get the diff apart. we diconected the prop, took all the nuts out around the diff. then we took the castle nut off but we cant seperate the diff. is there anything else i have to do.

You gotta pull out the half shafts!

Take wheels off... using axle stands and all that...

Undo 5 bolts on drive flange... pull out about 4-6 inches (watch for oil)...

Bob should be yer auntie!
