I don't want to p**s on anyones fireworks, but even a 4x4 wouldn't help if you were in the back one.  There's a YouTube vid of a phantom jet hitting a wall and the entire plane is vapourised from the force of the impact.

The real message is that if any of us hit a small car at speed, we'd do a similar amout of damage.  Be careful out there, folks.

...and that aircraft are never designed nor intended to be flown into a solid object like that.

see the bettle dont cop much damage
but then it doesent have crumple zones

as early cars and 4x4 are built without crumple zones the fair better in crashes but its not so good for the people inside them

i have been to many crashes where people have walked from total wrecks with not a scratch and there has been fatal crashes where the car looks ok and still drove onto a breakdown truck so safty has come a long way
would much prefer to be in a new 4x4 than an old one in a major crash
but still like my rangie clasic and disco than the later freelanders but if someone wants to buy me a new rr sport i wont complaine

Depends what you hit, but as most of my accidents are idiots running into me at low speed I'll still take the rangie any day.
