Went hillwalking on Sunday up in Glen Coe - unbelievable weather - really fantastic!

Could see all the way to Ben Nevis (the peak in the background with the curved ridge):

Fantastic pics :D
me and a mate backpacked for 3 nights one febuary many moons ago around that area in extreme, starting from Loch Morlich near Avimore through the Largrui,
Loch Arvon (where we tried to pitch a tent on the loch, not realising till we tried to peg it out we where on ice   )

One hairy moment was when my mate went through the ice over a river just by a bothy (cant remember the name, it was built by the RAF I think)

Great times  8)

Forgive the spelling and I cant remember the order of the names of the lochs and valleys we walked, twas a long time ago, though we did end up in Breamar,  :?

Know what you mean about the spelling ... pronouncing them is always a mess as well :)

Couple of places on our way up through the snow covered parts we could hear running water underneath our feet so decided to take wider steps across that section  :?  :?  :?

Wasted cuz I went planning to walk... but by time Friday night was finished... Saturday night had started!

Friends of mine got married here! In the sunny spot just behind the house sized boulder in the bottom right!

Everybody in Kilts and jumpers...!

Ooooo, nice!  8)

The Aonoch Eagoch Ridge looks spectacular.

One of the best days walking I'd ever had was the year of Foot and Mouth. We hit Stob Coire Nan Lochan via Twisting Gully and topped out Bidian nam Bian, Sweet - really sweet!

Twp days later we hit the Mamores and did the Ring of Steahl in full winter condition.

T'was a good week and your photos bring a lot of good memeries (and some slightly scary ones!) flooding back.

Cheers
