Best A/T Remold tyres?
«

I am currently looking for cheep A/T tyre, more likely a remould. It won’t be doing a great deal of mileage so it does not warrant a new tyre.
I have seen the Colway A/T at a reasonable price and it says it has the same pattern as the BF Goodridge. Has anyone used them and if so are they OK. They will be going on my Rangie (1991) 3.9.
Where is the best place to get them from (I am in Bury, Lancs.).
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Mick

Good tyres. Although my Dads set don't seem to be wearing that well to me......... But then at £40 a corner you can't really complain.

Im using Colway A/T's on my Disco, which is used mainly on the road, and I have no complaints with them.
They got a bit clogged with mud and lost grip on The Plain the other month, but hey, they aren't M/T's. Gave me an excuse to use the winch :D

I had them on my disco before getting the BFG MT's, very good tyre, quiet on road and good in the rough stuff, they do (as said earlier) clog up a bit with clay/thick mud but for the money they are exellent. I have 4 x Colway AT C-Trax tyres on 15" black 8 spokes in superb condition if you are interested, as you are in Bury (I work in Blackburn) could deliver if your interested...£120 ono.

Currently running Colways on my 2005 Grand vitara, no problem at all just a B*****d to balance, but someone warned me of that when I got them. Never had a problem on road or off road.

i,ve just replaced 2 colway at,s with the bfg pattern, they were on the front and have lasted i would estimate about 26k miles which is not as good as i would have liked but the rears have plenty left on, i can only assume they wore quicker as they were on the steering axle but they did wear very evenly and didnt round of the edges like some tyres do .
i did notice they were showing signs of what looked like perish marks on the sidewalls though :? they had been on 2 years almost exactly

so far in the last 5 years I have done around 300k miles on Colway AT's with zero problems, really rate them, every set has done more than 40k miles and have only departed due to selling the vehicle.
