Raising money for the Macmillan Cancer Charity
« on: April 04, 2007, 22:54:33 »
Hi all,

I hope the moderators dont mind me posting this...........

In March 2008 i will be entering the MAC4x4 challenge. this is an on and off road event that anually raises money for the Macmillan support trust.

The event consists of 1000 miles of on and off road driving on the weekend of 7.3.08.

This year, 2007 saw a raising of nearly 100,000 quid by this event, and the hope is, that this is matched or bettered in 2008.

I have committed to raising 2,500 quid myself.

Now you generous people of mudclub, i am asking you to sponsor me. this is simply done, all you have to do is go to http://www.justgiving.com/teameuropcar and make an electronic donation.

your donation goes directly to the charity, and by using just giving, they can reclaim the tax as well, so if you donate say a tenner, the charity gets over 11 quid.

If you wish to donate but do not want to do it electronically, please e mail me at thechastiser@ntlworld.com and put donation in the subject heading, i am sure we can work something out.

if you want to find out more about the challenge please follow this link http://www.mac4x4.co.uk

If you want to raise money for me at events and such, i would be very grateful, and all you have to do is pay what you have raised into the just giving link.

I thank you in advance for your help with this.

Mike

you might find quite a few members on here have already done this challenge so you might pick up some tips or even find people going on the same one as you in 08
