Does anyone know where I can get hold of a caliper spacer kit to allow me to fit vented discs to the front on a Disco 1 (1990)

Funnily enough Tim and I are trying to find exactly the same thing for his Disco.

RPI do them but there are other places on thr 'net that do them cheaper.  Flea bay for example where you can get the kit including disks and pads.

One dealer told me that Paddocks do them but I don't know if this is true or not.

They should, they are the same calliper.  Except that on solid disk Discos (unlike RRC) the brakes are single circuit, so fitting RRC callipers (either solid or vented) would mean new plumbing/flexis and possibly a master cylinder too.

Now my front brakes are dual circuit, I did not think they went single until around 1995 on the 300tdi

There you go then, RRC callipers or V8 Disco callipers.

Obviously a cost-cutting exercise on the 300 TDi then   I keep forgetting the 200TDi is just a Range Rover in drag
