Front Runner roof racks
« on: April 06, 2007, 22:19:36 »
Hi all

Anyone use an aluminium Front Runner roof rack? Are they OK?

I had been looking at a Patriot one until I found out the prices    They are superb quality, but at over £1000 for what I want, it's a teeny bit pricy!

I can get a full length 110 Front Runner one with a ladder for under £600, delivered. Still a shed load of money, but a bit more paletable.

Thanks for that. But I would guess it's for a Disco? I was really looking at a full length one for the 110. I'll drop him a PM anyway. Ta!

From those that I've seen the quality is good. Make sure you get the wind deflector with it.

Also for a 110. DON'T get a roof rack with a length of metal that fits inside the gutter. You'll open the roof upabout three inches back from the 'screen top.

A 110 needs a flexable rack. If you lift one corner mounting the other three should stay on the groung.
