Streamlining

It wasn't just railway locomotives that underwent encasement in the 1930's.
This wonderful era of 'Art-Deco' produced some wonderful designson 4 wheels as well.
And it wasn't just cars, but vans also grew streamlined

I saw this feature in the magazine 'Heritage Commercial' this week.

Isn't it a gorgeous vehicle??
Just right for the period & surprisingly British - not American (well,
Scottish)
the pocket-sized version

Doesn't it look like it's a real-life rendition of the vehicles in the animated 'Batman' that's on SKY-One(106) on a weekday morning at 07:30
That's very 'Art-Deco' in its graphic style  -but dubbed 'Dark-Deco' by the producer. Watch it & see.
