Just for those who might need them it's official they can now be fitted to Defenders!! I've been working with Siemans vdo on a solution to the problems all sorted now!! 8)  8)

What about a disco. I kep thinking of the idea of starting up a trailer / caravan towing business for those people who buy caravans etc off ebay and need someone to colect them. Guess I would ned a tacho for that.

I already have a card for my voluntary groups tachos. Would a tacho fit in the fuse area by the drivers right knee behind the plastic flap or screwed onto the gearbox tunnel on the passenger side?

I think they are about £400 to buy as well :(

as long as your vehicle's registered before 1st may 2006 you can have the  old type and i've fitted them between the sunvisors slighly angled towards the driver looks quite smart up there 8)  8)

Was a guy by the name of Andrew Kent there? We used to work together many years ago, as did our fathers. Last time we spoke he was over-seeing that part of the business for VDO.

Had a tacho fitted in my td5 for a few months now, cannock tacho centre
