Yeap, heard that one through the classic Ford movement.  Law in France already, not if anything every justified NOT doing something.....

" but the do that in France, yuk".

Big backlash on it's way, we stillpay too much for cars in Britain, so many of us drive older cars.

remember the big fanfare for TAX FREE VEHICLES OVER 25 YEARS OLD - then the wet fart when it was removed????
car manufactureres would love it - till they realise they would have to create a future value for the vehicles - and build it into their new vehicles - driving up prices...and who would buy a 8 year old car knowing it had a life of 2 years?
Would throw the market all to pot!

this is a stupid law, seen as everyone is going on about enviroment, is it not more evviromentally friendly to keep an old car running instead of scrapping it and building new ones???

Which I'm told was exactly what chris evans said when some muppet texted his show to say they had swapped their car for a brand new 'environmentally friendly' small car.

Muppets.

Just to make you feel better I waas reading a review on the new Shogun and apparently it struggles to better 25 MPG solo and 18 towing, but it's MGTW is less than a 300 TDi
