Norfolk 4x4 response Network day
« on: April 29, 2007, 19:53:50 »
Not a club event, so I thought I'd post it here.
I traveled to Beeston today to the Norfolk 4x4 response Network assesment day.
A great presentation was given, explaining the role of the 4x4 Response Network & a few rules & procedures (recovery, sand driving etc). We were then assessed on our overall driving techniques.
Once this was complete, we were then left to have a play around on the small (& very dry) site.
A HUGE thanks to Tony & everyone else involved in organising today (sorry, I'm flippin useless with names)
Hope you enjoy the pics.

Me, stuck

Well, when I said dry, there was a little bit of water

Zacspeed good to see you again, the Big guy with the hat who did most of the assesments is Trevor.
Good pics.
For a dry site (and it was ) your zuks seemed to be very full of water  or was it all in the car before you came??
Did you like our recovery vehicle? Not much that wouldnt pull out!!
Appears you all passed the assesments, check out the web site for details.

Great to see you too Graham!  :D
I think most Zukes come equipped with an in-built divining rod, as they do seem to be able to hunt out water in any situation!
Loved the Bedford too, a real serious bit of kit.
I'll check out the site to see how we got on.
You up for a play in Thetford forest this weekend?
