This is the original one, asbuilt by 'Four Plus Four' in Leeds (just off Sheepscar Road)
It's been in all the magazines over the years & resided in Simmonites showroom for a while as well

You could just about build one yourself in an afternoon. The "frame" of both motors is pretty much the same thing. Am I right in saying even the doors are a straight swap. (probably not actually now I come to think about it.)

but what makes it worth that sort of dough ?

an 'f' reg range is worth what ? > £2800 in good nick

an 'g' reg disco ? > £3000 in good nick

hows this worth £6500 ? Its a cracking motor by the looks of it and definately has the 'funky factor' but 6.5k ? Im not sure. Only got 5.5 months ticket on it (from auction and funds clearance date).

Maybe Im grouchy but 6500 seems a wee bit high.
Recommended wading depth 500 inches, no wait, im sure that was milimetres. And let me get this right. The breakover angle is 80 degrees....??

Ahh, f**k it, Il give it a go anyway
