Steering ball joint
« on: May 01, 2007, 18:47:21 »
One of the steering ball joints, (drivers side front) has gone on the Disco.

At least, its knocking, and I can see the joint lifting and popping when the steering wheel is rocked.

Is it just a question of getting a new ball joint, undoing the old one, knocking it out and then putting the new one in and doing it back up again?

Many thanks,
J.D.

Do you mean a track rod end (where a steering rod connects to the wheel), or the drop arm ball joint, like this one?
