Grand Cherokee Back Axle

Hi,
my 4.0 grand cherokee back axle diff needs replacing but i cant find a realistic price second hand one , breakers want £750.
Does anyone know if the cherokee diff is interchangeable so as i can keep the original casing and moutings etc, many thank!!!s

Sadly its a known GC problem where are you located...

unfortunately my axle is a custom d60 rockcrusher so no comparable can be made with the cost...............ring mark at mdg for a fixed price,  sorry can't be more help.

I have just bought all the bearings, seals and a ring & pinion set for my cherokee for about £150 from the states (various suppliers). I suggest you do the same and get the back end rebuilt by a decent transmission place.
