its not that, they got all the jigs and everything, so what would take you a weekend, wil take them hours
also you no its right then, and havent got that little voice in back of your head sayin is it strong enough  :?

a ill fitted cage will do more damage than no cage at all

just worth the thought

100 pound more and a 90 that survives, or save 100 quid and go pub and then have one written off 90 and be in a coma in hospital  :?

there isnt a compramise in my eyes really  :?

think some of it is pshycological tho.....jsut cos someone else fits the same thing and you pay them ..don't mean it's fitted any better than you would do yourself..but because you didn't fit it yourself you feel more confident in the product...that's just lack of trust within yourself  :D

I have seen a few of Whitbred's cages on various motors whilst at trials, and they look really well made. He has bulit up a good reputation for making a good cage. I would condsider going to them for a cage rather than just nipping an hour down the road to QT.

they wouldnt be in the trade else
why rip someone off, put someone's life at risk ??
do you really think they gonna put there reputation on the line  :?
if someone got hurt/killed due to there cage being ill fitted.. who's responsable, the company

not moaning or picking on you so dont take it the wrong way, as what you say is quite correct, there are many cowboys out there, but take it from me they are a reputable company, there cages are good and they do work, the quality of workmanship is brilliant

i feel confident enough to fit it myself, but i'd have to do it in the street and possibly in the rain :( , so for a few quid more i think i'll make a weekend of it. just need to arrange it all now  :?

isnt as easy as you think to fit a cage, took me 4 days to fit my cage properly
spreader plates on chassis, braces, getting holes in right place, removing rear floor and refitting ect

its alot more involved than you think, not that im questioning your compitance
