and as for that shogun hitting the civic, the shoguns chassis is higher than the civics so it does more damage, ok i believe that,   what about the rest??
a fire engine over took me doing atleast 80 yesterday   does that mean they should stop them too??

Notice the car side-swiped wasn't a Volvo with SIPS, hit by a Mondeo, or another Volvo

Some other very funny things, like the manoeuvre's, the drivers probably couldn't have done them in a car either.

Also, the driving a mini vs RR test, the mini had no armrest... Plus many other things I could mention though won't.

Completely biased, with a tiny token defence thrown in by the guy for the society of motor traders etc.

RANT RANT RANT RANT RANT, I could go on all night, just like he did!

Was just a load of pandering to the greenies.

Do remind me to never reverse blindfolded past a school won't you, otherwise I might run over about 10 strategically placed kids.

None of the points they made were watertight, still since when has that mattered to the "Anti's".

Any body notice that when they crashed the shogun into the car that they used the strongest part of the shogun and the weekest part of the car!

Total rubbish, what if it was an artic lorry not a shogun, more to the point if 9 school kids can stand behind a land cruiser and not be seen what about a lorry or a bus? And a bus is after all what most people send there kids to school on everyday of the week!!

I'd like to know where they trawled them so called 4x4 drivers up from, all the rest of us can reverse round a corner without driving on the pavement its not exactly rocket science, anyway those cars are not "Offroaders" there just large road vehicles that happen to drive off all 4 wheels!!!

As you probably guessed i also turned it off :D

Sorry! That last bit was a bit biased towards land rovers

You get the idea tho and that jeep certainly aint used off road!!

The best bit was watchin her drive the D3 with Ed, I dont understand after driving around there with Ed how anyone could come to the decision that they no longer want a 4x4, i'm suprised she was'nt selling the jeep and buying a D3!!!!!

What makes me laugh is that if these people sell their 4x4s, there not going to suddenly dissapear. All that's going to happen is sombody else will be driving it around, probably in an area not far from where it currently is.

And what if we all sold our land rovers etc, what then! there'd be the biggest pile of dissused cars imaginable, what sort of enviromental disaster would that be :?

Am I wrong in thinking these greenies seem to belive that all the 4wds in the country would just evaporate if we chose to give them up, chuffed if I know

Yes, well! No surprises on that programme then

I had booked it, but decided not to bother before it came on.... I realised I'd just get all wound up and life's too short! Relocation, Relocation was far more entertaining  :D

Watched it in work. Kept shouting at the telly.

As previously stated, those drivers would be incapable of doing those manouvres in a car. It would have made much more sense to get them to do the manouvres in a 4x4, and then in a car, as a comparison.

The bit where they had the bloke with the RR to drive his other half's Mini, he was just an idiot of a driver full stop. Anyone see the bit where he turned onto a side road? For a moment or so I thought I was watching a Scaletrix Mini, as the line was down the middle of the car.

And as for the comments about being more aggressive when in a 4x4, I can assure you that I'm no more aggressive than I was when I had my Focus!

Wouldn't be at all surprised if the 4x4 owners had simply been handed a wad of cash and told to look as stupid as they possibly could. You wouldn't get me on a programme like that. But then, my 4x4 is used every day for it's intended purpose! :P
