Every time i want to use my truck, something goes wrong.......

Last week the rear diff expired...... supposed to be helping Bullfrog out tomorrow, and now the water pump has decided to start dripping......

So, dare i use it? and keep an eye on the water level?? or isn't it worth the risk of it failing completely....???
gone from 200tdi.... to 300tdi... still with loads done to it, in fact, even more than the last truck...LOL!!!

its not so much the water pump failing as it letting the water level drop far enough to let it cook the head, i,ve just done a water pump today as it happens took about half an hour

if its a 300Tdi you might find its the P gasket behind the waterpump housing that has failed..

and if it hasn't, removing the old waterpump will disturb it and it'll probably start leaking..

Add 1 hour + about £3 to the job and change the P gasket aswell...

It's a 200, i'll fit a new gasket anyway, if the pump doesn't come with one, i'll tap one out of a nive think piece of lining paper i have specially for gaskets....

Just watch the bolts some of them are long and go though the cambelt housing, sometimes they dont like letting go
