OVERLAND TRAILER CLUB
« on: May 25, 2007, 12:32:40 »
I dont know if this is in the correct place in the forum, or even if it's ok to put this in at all............................. I wait to be advised...................

We are trying to get set up a "club" which isn't really a club as there are no membership fees etc but it's for persons interested in overland travel, camping etc who use an off road trailer of any discription with their 4x4.

Anyone interested PM me with your email address and I can forward further details and a form to join.

We have a club stand at the upcoming Eastnor show so come and see us there too.

Cheers,

Wayne.

As this isn't apparently commercial advertising and it seems to be a club which might be of general interest to members, I don't see any objection in you talking about it here.  I'll move you to the Bar where you might get more views.

Informally I don't think there's a problem with the odd mention of other clubs, providing you're not using mud-club's servers to do all your club business!

I have a sankey and some times take it laning just for the crack but it makes you think every one you see is thinking you have just dumped some rubbish down that lane.
I would like to make it into a camp trailer but time and money and the fact that we have just bought an abbey spectrum caravan has held me back.
So yes i would love to see a trailer site for what other people have done help and advice.

I have a wolf sankey wide track which I have converted to a camp trailer; it's excellent.

PM me and I'll send you all the details for the club.
