Whats a Range Rover 2002 onwards abreviate to ??

P38 - Range Rover 1995-2002ish

So what is the range rover 2002 onwards abbreviate to ?

Also why is a P38 called a P38 and not a well, I have a few terms for them :D

It was project no. 38 I think. landrover code P38A  :?  and its an L322 for the same reason  :D

P38 was originally project Pegasus" until the press got wind of it - then changed to P38
L322 is new Rangie as HAW said

P38A is the full name, Legend states it's the building number at Solihull where it was designed.

The Discovery 3 is L319; ie it looks like the project was started before the new Rangie.

Disco II was known as Tempest;  I quite like that.

Disco 1 (200 series) was called Jay
Disco 1 (300 series) was called Romulus

I seem to recall the P38a had another project title - but strangely it was adopted for another vehicle. I wonder if you can guess :)

After the launch of the Discovery the code name for the new Range Rover was changed from Discovery to Pegasus, and later 38A (38A is the number of the design building at Solihull)
