All you need is to spend some time and care making sure the dizzy cap doesn't let water in and you stand a chance :)
I have a snorkle on my disco but It is not there to allow me to drive through deep water, it is there to safeguard the engine and avoid destroying it by sucking up a load of water. It does look good too!
WARNING controversal question!!why do v8 owners go to the bother and hassle to have snorkels when they can only seem drive through puddles?
