I tend to agree. As I understand, D2 is longer than a D1 - the space being added to the boot and the rear legroom.

D2 I think is 7" longer but I thought that was the boot not the size of the doors so........... :?:

I might be wrong. The only evidence to support my claim is from Eblag - a set of rubber mats for a D1 and a D2. The D2 looks a lot bigger.
Any Mud Clubbers has a D1 and a D2?

D2 sliders are quite a bit different from D1 sliders. Liked most things you could make them fit but you would be better off with the correct sliders.
