Now who remembers series 2 of 'The Proffesionals'? Bodie had the nice MkII Capri in gold with vinyl roof and doyle had the white 3.0l with X-Pack and super wide alloys. The later didn't get used much, probably too thirsty. I read somewhere that they had a total of 7 Capris between them over 5 series.

Ah the "blister" power bulge.Mine had the power bulge with it being a 3.0. It wasn't the little one which was on later cars.Where did you live In Nottingham Helen?I can't remember a specialist Capri breakers.Ed
All the way through this thread I've been thinking about the hamlet advert where the guy has just fitted his Escort (I think) with something resembling an x-pack.. then promptly drives out of his narrow gate and removes the lot :-)<cue double bass>
I'd also like to point out to all the pink spectacle wearers that a 2.8/3.0L Crapi puts out about 150 - 160 BHP standard, my 2.5L Turbo diesel car beats that

so your 2.5 turbo diesel has that peformance does it ?
