just came online this evening to read this shocking news

not many outside of the heavy metal world would know this guy but he was the guitarist in a well established and quite a big band called PANTERA, before they split and he went onto another band called Damageplan

A loss to music , unfortunately the dreary boy bands keep going. and where do we go to hear music now Mr Peel has gone. I founded my varied taste round his shows in the 80s, killing Joke and the like.

there is an article on the bbc news site of ozzy osbourne's grief at the loss..

i was reading something on kerrang late last night (when i found out) about some mixed info on vinnie paul being shot too, but this doesnt reflect on other news sites.

its a pity the guy was shot himself....

i feel sorry for the families of the dead, not saying darrell should get more but the others who got shot for no reason.. darrell was the target but the others were killed too (3 i believe)

also read darrell was shot 6 times...  :shock:
