what would you do if someone is going round causing trouble and getting you banned from different forum's :?:

Talk to the admins / moderators of the forums?

is it a vendetta? a childish ploy or have you really pee'd them off for them to do this?

1) complain to the admins of the forums in question
2) if they dont take action... reg under a different name
3) dont go on the forums in question, as MC tolerates no behaviour like this whatsoever, you are more than welcome here :D

If you're getting banned from a forum(s) for something you didn't do without a right to address then you're probably better off not being in that forum.


Wish I knew the answer m8 I'm having problems with trouble makers myself it's difficult when you can't grab the person responsible

all i did was say
 "if the oganisers of the show looked on here for publicity of there show they would wonder were the pics are and so do i come to think of it "

then a mod got all funny and said if i wanted pics then i should have gone to the show myself
this got to my wife as we could not get to the show due to personel circs
then started to get pm's from one mod who said he had complaints and that was it but then the forum owner pm me stating that i am causing trouble for the forum and that he was going to ban me my wife and another person for putting something in our defence
i then went out for the day to b told that i have been banned from another local forum to which i dont no y i have been banned other than the forum owner of the first site telling and lieing to the owner or mod of the second forum

If that's the whole story, are you really that bothered about being banned from a forum with that sort of mentality?

theres one person i feel sorry for and thats my poor friend that got banned after trying to defend us , she didnt even get a warning or explaination from the site admin, but  did see an email i received from him saying it was my fault for dragging her into our arguement (even though she defended off her own accord and not me dragging her in), and she also got told by a third party that the mod who was involved in the arguement didnt get banned and i quote "because she is a mod" !
oh i should of applied to be a mod then i wouldnt of got a ban  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

Sounds like you are better off out of it, to be quite honest. Let them play their games, and think of it like this. If that is all they have to worry about, then they must lead very mundane lives!

like i said it's not down to all member's of the forum in :?:  just a couple and i meen a couple lol
but when the people in  :?: edit post and delete post then other members dont get to see the full picture and they delete anything they dont like or change youre message as they dont like something u put in it

forgot to say on the second forum all i have done is defend the first forum and quote 1 person remark onto the first forum saying "The guys from ********* *** weren't the most approachable bunch we've ever met even though we were in the Disco!!

Hope they were more chatty with people visiting who weren't so obviously already involved in 4x4's "

Seems to be a few forum dictators around unfortunately, most of them though  are single marque forums seemingly gratified by getting as many members as possible whether they be active or not.


It's not the forum that counts but the members thereon, the best forums for us spend more time off-road than on-line :lol:  :lol:

I'm a Mod on another formn, Cannot see what the problem is?? I must say you have to be real bad for me to ban anyone, I like a good heated debate cannot see what the problem is??? Power trip i would say.

Hi unfortunatley there are some forums who have Admins and Mods who are a bit power hungry the rot starts at the top though
i would suggest you are better off out than in as these forums only ever survive due to having a better domain name rather than a better  admin and support staff eventually the main memners learn this and do move to the better run sites but don't expect it to happen over night

well i have had no reply from the admin of the second site even though he is a member on here which is a shame as that started to seem the better forum of the two local ones and the admin of the first is still stirring trouble around and if he keeps it up i will have to pay him a visit as this is getting to be harrasment he is also a member on here so i hope both admins have seen what i have to say
