Do "Mud-flaps" on the back make much difference?, mine hasn't any & all the back gets bl--dy filthy in no time .--Cogs

its suppose to be mucky, its a landrover  :roll:  its designed to do that so it looks like you have a purpose for an offroader, other than taking kids to school. they had the winging whining do gooders in mind.

Thats what I use my S1 & S111 for, the Ragie is just for "road" use & towing the caravan.  We are away somewhere nearly every weekend from Spring onwards with the c/van.
Very lucky where we live, Tthe Lakes+Yorkshire dales +Wensleydale are all only a couple of hours away.
Waited 30+years to be able to buy/afford to run a Rangie so am not going to lane it.--Cogs

Hi Cogs.
             The mud flaps on the rear DO make a difference.
I have them on my '88 Classic, the rear quarter panels and the rear window stay cleaner when 'on road'.

If you are really concerned about spray, fit flaps to the front and rear   with the insides of H.G.V. mudflaps.

These are basically a bristle or brush construction, that not only catch the spray but all sorts of muck that gets thrown up from the road.

There is a downside though, as any Truck driver will tell you.
It takes AGES and AGES to steam clean the muck out of a Scania mud flap :!:

Checked right through "E" bay & couldn't find any on offer, would prefer "genuine" parts to keep the motor origional(as near as Poss).
Have asked SWMBO for the Parts C/D from L/Rover for Christmas that they are pushing in the mags.  Costs about £12.  
Any one got one yet?
