and im hoping the welding fairy will take pity on me one night and weld the sills as they are slowly falling apart more........
also took it upon myself to check the tranfers box oil level...... and found some plonker had filled it with ATF!!!!!!

If you've got a Borg-Warner transfer box, it's supposed to have ATF in it. This is according to the official Range Rover workshop manual. The Haynes guide has a mistake in it

how can i tell if it is a borg-warner conversion? with the thicker oil in it it is nice and quiet with the watery stuff that came out it was noisey as hell. the oil that came out was like water, ATF has a little substance to it this had none...... i think i shall leave the tractor back-end oil in it for the time being, when it breaks i shall fix it, or just park it in a hedge........
