CLASSIC NUMBER 3 !
« on: December 14, 2004, 23:21:33 »
My day - to - day car is an '88 E.F.I.

I have recently bought a '90 Vogue with a duff 'box.

I have just bought  an '87 E.F.I. over the phone .

I think there will be some ads over Christmas for spares available .....................

Cheers,

SPIKEY.

The plan is as follows:

Keep the '88 Reg.

Take the 'box out the '87 Reg and put it in the '90 Reg.

Keep the '90 Reg.

Sell whats left off the '87 Reg.

Confused ????      You should be     :!:  :!:  :!:  :!:

The '87  Deal is finalised.
I swapped places with the van driver at work to-day, hired a van, ( ours is a shed!) and went to Kent.

After making a couple of deliveries, the deal was done.

Quite a clean car, mint top tailgate, good engine and 'box, just the bumper end-caps, grille and a couple of other bits missing.

The only problem I have now is .................................
How to get it back.

In the past I have driven motors 200 miles plus back home, but with a few bits missing ..................

If any one drives a recovery truck for a living and find themselves in Gravesend give me a shout.

I don't trust my work wrecker - an E Reg Iveco to make the trip.

Cheers,

SPIKE.

( Looking for more scrap Rangies !! )

Try your local hire shop for a trailer, should be around £30 for the day!
Blue,  1988  Range Rover 3.5 EFi with plenty of toys bolted on
Chuggaboom, 1995 Range Rover Classic
1995 Range Rover Classic Vogue LSE with 5 big sticks of Blackpool rock under the bonnet.
