Any one weld in the North West

Welder or competent amateur welder wanted for a job on my rear door and to weld on a recovery hook/eye.

Will need to be in the North West and be cheap or in need of beer

If no-one on here can help.. pop round to your nearest fabrication/engineering firm, chat to the foreman and see if he can help. I got my chassis welded for £28 instead of the £100+ a garage wanted to charge.

I went to the engineering company next to our office and I dont think they wanted the job, they quoted £130 to weld a plate over this crack :?

Its a lower tailgate hinge thats seized and replaced but when it was seized the previous owner forced it till it split

Thanks for the reply  :D

Would a new rear door not be cheaper? Is it steel or ally?

Properly would be cheaper than what I was quoted for the welding but I could tell they just didn't want to do it so bumped it up.

I reckon its worth getting welded as I wont have to run around trying to get the right color tailgate

And my mudclub sticker is on this one

oh its steel
