Radio Control Land-Rover
« on: October 18, 2003, 01:05:04 »
Under the Any More! thread I mentioned my Land-Rover bodied radio control car and have been asked for a picture, so thought I might as well post the pics for all to see. It is as yet unpainted, and I need to get some wheels that are a little more in scale than the current ones that match the Subaru body.

PS Moose IIRC this is your sort of thing, what do I paint it with?
Cheers

Wonder if that would fit my GP Alpha Ten

Yes, it's cut from an old shirt. It's basically sewn on, if you look really closely you'll see how bad my sewing is

I've not put them in any kind of gallery, but build pictures are at Clicky

That is great, im sure if it were available as a kit it would be a great seller!
I do think Sharpshooter is right though, those lights are a little on the bright side for a LandRover!

Great model all the same though!

Cheers

If you want to go for authenticity, you could use yellow LEDs perhaps...  and have a little oil drip underneath of course.  Periodically the wiring could maybe catch fire.

What? It looks the part yet dont do all those things? Maybe the landrover development team could look into this technology! (and when they have finished perhaps they can come round and sort my oil leaks out  )
