hi all just asking weather anybody knows if i could aply for the log book of a series 3 that i have rescued from a scrappy ,i have done a vehicle check on line and this says that vehicle is not licenced but nothing to state that it is scrapped ,any ideas would be most welcome

By the looks of it if its not been logged as scrapped, probably arrived att he scrappy without a log book

I would apply for a new one as a new owner, as long as you have the info the form wants, ie reg and chassis number and fuel type I believe, and date of purchase

You wont be able to tax the vehicle though until you have a log book in your hands, although I imagine you will have some work to do before you worry about that

you may need to take it for a VIC(vehicle identity check) to establish the identity of the vehicle and that it's not stolen etc.,
