my wife has one of these with o2, on a contract

however it has a very annoying feature locked which is that you cant turn OFF the tones that are heard when you press a button on it (the option is greyed out)

anyone here au fait with this model, or better still work for o2 and let me know of a workaround to turn the godawful noise off?

i had the same problem ,once i had changed the display settings it ungreyed ,and i was able to change it

Keypad Tones: If you have the Themes set then follow this:

Settings > (3) Display Settings > Wallpaper >Change to Normal > Save

Volume Keys Up/Down left side of phone > Down Key to turn down to zero

Now

Settings > Display Settings > (6) Dialing display > (1) Font Type > Change to Normal > Save


Now should be able to use Up/Down Volume keys to adjust Key Tone Volume to minimum etc.


When set you can put Wallpaper back to Theme.

nice one guys

wife didnt wait and went back to the o2 shop

they said they spent 3 days trying to figure it out and have had most if not all customers coming back with the same problem

looks like the o2 config isnt that well made! :)
