AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH
OK we are on holiday and the disco has locked herself and we can't unlock her with the remote. we have checked the fuse and it seems ok any ideas of how to get her to unlock with out the remote.
It will work with the key
I think it must be a loose connection as it worked after a short drive then it stopped working later on after another short trip
the fuse looks OK and I cant see anything loose but where is the sensor for the remote central locking as it is the only thing i think could be affecting it
Also had the roof lining half off to cure a leek from the sun roof and had the interior light disconnected
if anybody is around the gainsbrough area we can meet for some help

Hi
I also get this sometimes with my TD5, but I just open it using the EKA method and then the remote seems to work ok again.
Try moving the car as sometimes interference from other radio signals stops it from working.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Ok we have an answer of sorts the Disco seems to be allergic to my friends drive way we go about 10m in either direction and the remote central locking starts to work
it must be his French car

it is probably electromagnetic interference, are you parked near overhead power lines or next to a substation?

Just a thought, but have you checked the micro-switches inside the key fob? Mine started playing up and it was those that were the problem. They needed carefully resoldering to the PCB. Haven't had an issue since . . .
