« on: July 30, 2007, 12:32:56 »
Well only 3 actually as the other 2 i had are no good, 1 has split all along the side wall, and the other has a small split on the side wall ( and cant be repaired aparrently. :( )

Anyway they only need a small bit of trimming to the rear arch

A BIG thanks to smego for the tyres :) :)

Looks a lot better now , just need to find another 1 from somewhere :)

They look good, at first I just looked through pics and saw the wheel hitting the body and then the next where its off road and thought you hadn't cut the arches, DOH, then read the write up before the pics and then thought phew :!:

What happened to your back window :?:

The cut you have done is very simular to the cut I did in mine, maybe for the 245's I put on it was a little too drastic, look in the myspace link on my sig

When I cut mine I found that the angle grinder was a little OTT on the thin ali. In the end I used a dremmel for the top of the cut and then mainly all other cutting was done just with tin snips. I think I bought my tin snips in Wilkinsons for about £2.00

DOH - nice dent, looks an easy one to pull out though, lucky the window never went through

Think you might have very sore fingers if you cut it all out with tin snips then

Angle grinder it is then
