have tried fittin g these both ways round but still cant close vent flaps
Defender 90 ex mil.

They do go in, and you may have to pack the vent down with your hand after fitting, while someone clips the handle in place

Did mine a couple of weeks ago, I used impact adhesive, on both surfaces, and followed it round carefully dont put too much stretch on it though

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

I'm sure I have seen the foam seals that actually sit within the vent flap itself rather than the ones in the picture.

however both mine are the illustrated types
