Went down to Bedfordshire today, on arrival the back of the disco was covered in oil, I opened the bonnet and couldn't find any levels low and no warning lights were on, No signs of an oil leak under the bonnet either, On looking under the vehicle the bottom was covered in oil from the middle of the motor backwards and worse on the drivers side...
On returning home (driving slowly all the way) I steam cleaned it under body and found that most of the oil seam to of came from the valve block directly under the driver seat area, Once I'd cleaned it all up I started it up to look for the leak...
No leak but the ACE light was now on, The level for the ACE was fine and no leak found even after a good ride round...
The ACE light has now gone off and everything seems fine again :?
Anyone come across it before ?
