<edit> trick, but it was timed to perfection, youve got to admit it!!

Ron Dennis was fuming!!

Then how nervous was Alonso in the press interview, then when he was asked the question, did you see Lewis' face smirk at Alonso

Alonso was in the pits with 2min 50secs left in Q3 session, when Hamilton came in behind him, the lollipop went up on Alonso, but he sat there delaying Lewis for another 10 seconds with the mechs waving at him to move, to stop lewis getting another lap in!!

Alonso is obviously feeling the pressure.

If he has to resort to tactics such as these, then it's showing that he's believed Lewis would post a quicker time.

God Bless you Lewis!! Good Luck for tomorrow.

Alonso ended up with pole by not being a team player - Lewis would had got that pole position for sure as his first lap was only a banker they reckon.

Did u see Ron Dennis rip the headphones off Alonso spanish m8 on the pit wall - they reckon it was him that told him to wait !!

be interesting to see how this pans out tomorrow , but i all this will serve to spur on Hamilton to do the business on the track

That's the sort of trick that will come back to haunt him.  At some point Ron Dennis will have to decide who is going for the champoinship and if that's the only way Alonso can get pole.........

thats not very fair.
yes schumacher pulled some tricks, but schumacher also was IMHO one of the best drivers there has ever been in the sport, and he should be remembered for being one of the best. its like macenroe, he was a legendary tennis player, again, one of the best there ever was, but all peoiple remember him for is being a loud mouthed young man

Sorry can't agree with that; schumacher may have the records but he was a very good driver in the right place at the right time. Had Senna not died when he did he would have at least three, probaby 4 of the titles schumacher got and schumacher would have gone in history as just another very good driver which is all he really was.
