Thought best post this here

There was a half track at War Wheels in Oswestry this weekend in German colours

Copy or Czech post WW2...anyone know?

There were a few, both the US (M3) and german had their own, plus probably more

The m3 was a bit like a land rover, as in you can bolt anything onto it and change its use

But these are the main two that spring to mind

I know the german one was used in various guises including armoured versions

Definately not the White US half track or the one in the B/W picture...kind of like a smaller version of the German one in the top picture but with less wheels in the track..they were not overlayed as much German armour were...

Try a search on google for half track, it throws up loads of pics, you can then try german half tracks :wink:

Think it must have been a cheap copy of an SDKfz251...
